Let’s get started.
10. 2019 Donruss Optic Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #64
At number ten on our list is the Donruss Optic Guerrero Jr. rookie card post-chronicle update (new card after this update). This card features a chromium finish and an updated photo from the former Chronicles version.
- Speaking of Donruss, check out the 2023 Donruss Football Checklist
We can see Guerrero Jr., elbow high, lining up his swing in-game at the plate. As mentioned, the selected picture is new and features a more serious image of Guerrero Jr., very, very cool. The rarity of this card is well-established and is certainly worth checking out.
9. 2019 Panini Immaculate Collection Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #20 Autograph Patch #/99
Next on our list is the sought-after Immaculate Collection Autograph version of Guerrero Jr. Nothing says class like a featured swatch and autograph from the man himself. Plastered on a clean, white background, we can see Guerrero Jr. at the tail end of his follow-through in fantastic quality.
This card is scarce, with less than 100 in circulation. For long-term investment, nothing appreciates like rarities in a fixed quantity.
8. 2019 Topps Series 2 Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC SP #NNO
Another capture of Guerrero Jr. in his follow-through, this time with an in-game background and near full body image. This card was short-printed but is not considered a substitute for the card found in the base set of Topps Series 2 rookie cards.

As an atypical rookie card, this copy’s rarity was under question upon release in Topps series 2 packs. However, after time, the available quantity settled and secured its spot as number 8 on this list.
7. 2019 Topps Factory Set Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #700
As a unique feature of 2019 Topps Factory Sets, player cards have an alternate version. Guerrero Jr.’s factory version features him in the Blue Jay’s white jersey, post-swing, staring at his home while he starts his scoring stride.
This official rookie card reflects its rarity through a slightly higher value than the series 2 version. Guerrero Jr. has flagship cards in the factory set, and the other alternate of this card features an outfield Guerrero Jr. on base, ready for action.
6. 2019 Topps Allen & Ginter Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #278
Allen & Ginter brings a vintage, old-school look to this rookie card, with Guerrero Jr.’s widely-used player profile, holding his bat and posing directly for the camera, in addition to this card’s many available parallels, an alternate, online-only version was released, including a black background card that is available in much lower quantities than the original.
This card is relatively affordable compared to other rookie cards on this list and features a vintage look with many parallels available, as well as a distinguished autograph.
5. 2019 Topps Chrome Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #201
Staying consistent with the quality we’ve expected from Topps Chrome lineups, this card features the same picture of Guerrero Jr. as the Topps series 2 but is studded with multiple refractors.
As we approach the upper half of our list, the value of these cards begins to increase drastically, starting with this Chrome Guerrero Jr.
4. 2019 Topps Chrome Sapphire Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #340
Topps released this Sapphire edition of their Chrome Guerrero Jr. as an online-only version, making its rarity and price exceedingly high. This one ranks near the top in value for Guerrero Jr. rookie cards. The superb design and low quantity available add to this card’s rarity.
The Chrome Guerrero Jr. is surrounded by a unique blue-ish pattern, resembling a more vintage chrome refractor style.
3. 2019 Topps Living Set Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RC #179
The Topps Living Set for the Blue Jays sold in huge quantities, with Guerrero Jr.’s card alone selling massively. This card sold nearly 30,000 copies upon release, and we can see why.
The card showcases an artistic adaptation done by Mayumi Seto. A masterful close-up of Guerrero Jr. in his classic profile featuring his straight eyes that say, “I know I’m the best hitter.”
Although not number one in value, this card is an excellent feature for any fan’s collection, and as Guerrero Jr.’s only feature so far as a Blue Jay, it will certainly appreciate over time.
2. 2016 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph Vladimir Guerrero Jr. #CPA-VG
At number two, where else to go but Bowman Chrome Prospect packs to find Guerrero Jr.’s most valuable cards. This particular card features Guerrero Jr. as a prospect in full swing. As his first-ever major league autograph, this card carries historical value and is a staple for any collector.
Check out the 2023 Bowman Chrome Best Cards and Values.
Despite its rarity and value, this card’s availability makes it the only choice for number two on this list. Rare refractor patterns can drive this card’s price to unthinkable numbers.
This could be considered the best card for collectors and prospectors, but it is only attainable to a select few since its price is sky-high.
1. 2016 Bowman Chrome Prospects Vladimir Guerrero Jr. #BCP55
To top our list, we have the unsigned version of the Chrome Prospect Guerrero Jr. What more is there to say? This card has it all and deserves to be our top choice.
Although this card does not match the value of the autographed version, it is more attainable for many people and still features Guerrero Jr. at the beginning of his MLB journey as a Blue Jay. Prospectors seek the scarce refractor versions that have netted some thousands over the years.
While carrying the same historical meaning, this card is well-rounded regarding obtainability, price, and features distinct refractors and many parallels.
